The New 'Nissan Z' Features a 400bhp Twin-Turbo V6 Engine

Nissan has unveiled its new 'Nissan Z' sportscar, a powerful rear-wheel-driving vehicle equipped with a 400bhp twin-turbo V6 powerplant engine.

The new 'Nissan Z' models, which boast a retro-inspired design, will be offered with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a nine-speed automatic. According to the company, a focus for this new sportscar was building upon its previous model's handling traits. “More than just powerful and agile, the all-new Z is designed to be one with the driver, for the car to be a ‘dance partner’ for their on-road adventures,” said Hiroshi Tamura, the Chief Product Specialist at Nissan.

In terms of the car's look, these new models were built to echo the design of the original 1969 sports car by the same name, which is why they present a long bonnet and short rear structure.
