The Nissan Sway is a concept compact hatchback that has seemingly been designed to give every other compact hatchback a serious inferiority complex. The concept, which aims to show off a new design language for the future, will have many other hatchbacks questioning the meaning of their existence.

The car's design is loaded with slicked back shapes and lines that zoom around in swoops and angles, accentuating the car's basic function -- going forward at speed. The car also has a glass floating roof consisting of four sections of glass held together by a central support, allowing for plenty of natural light and visibility.

The Nissan Sway is currently just a concept, but this sort of bold and brazen design language might be what the world of hatchback needs to reinvigorate itself.
