The Nintendo Labo Workshop has been announced to offer video game fans aged nine to 12 with the ability to explore the brand's cardboard console accessories and build their own solutions.
The workshops are free of charge and are set to take place in a variety of different cities to offer gamers the ability to try their hand at DIYing an accessory for their Nintendo Switch console with the Nintendo Labo: Variety Kit. This addresses the increasing presence that brands are taking with new products to ensure consumers of varying age demographics can get involved without feeling left out.
Speaking on the new Nintendo Labo Workshop, the brand explained, "To give some of Nintendo’s younger fans a safe, family-friendly space to experiment with Nintendo Labo, Nintendo is hosting a series of workshops all across the country that encourage kids to let their DIY talents run wild. Starting in September, the hour long workshops offer interactive activities using the Nintendo Labo: Variety Kit, as well as on-site ‘lab assistants,’ experts in white lab coats and fun colored shirts who will help attendees learn the ins and outs of Nintendo Labo."
