Hybrid Optimized SUVs

This Next-Generation SUV Offers Expansive Range and Dynamic Steering

Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has developed a next-generation SUV, dubbed the GT-PHEV, that aims to bring together sleek design lines and some serious hybrid engine technologies.

This next-generation SUV is powered by a combination of one motor upfront and two at the rear. Drivers will be able to take advantage of Mitsubishi's proprietary Super All Wheel Control system that allows for exceptionally boosted steering and handling. The motors themselves work in conjunction with a battery pack that promises 120 km of range. The vehicle is also equipped with a smart telematics system that takes weather, road surface and map information to optimize vehicular performance.

Sleek, solid and promising a high range, this next-generation SUV harks to the future of eco-friendly sports utility vehicle engineering.
