This Brand Welcomed New Hires by Making Personal Pez Dispensers
Ady Floyd — October 8, 2015 — Art & Design
The quirky ad agency 'Red Tettemer O'Connell + Partners' welcomed its two new hires by creating a personalized candy dispenser. The newly hired employees were each recreated as a nostalgic pez candy dispenser using digital imagery and 3D printers.
Each of the pez dispensers was made into the face of the new employee using the color red, which is a nod to the brand itself. Additionally, the company provided a welcome video that shows the printing process of how each dispenser was created.
This unique and welcoming gesture provides the new hires with a sense of honor and appreciation. By taking the time to create an incredibly personal product, the brand immediately built a bond with new staff members. In order to maintain positive work relationships with millennials, it is important for emerging and established companies to create experiential gestures like this one.
