The Netflix TV streaming service created the Netflix Switch button, which aims to enhance each the consumer's viewing experience. Pittsburgh-based agency Deeplocal created this button that will actually turn on the TV to Netflix, dim the lights, silence phone notifications and order food. The only catch is that Netflix users must assemble the switch themselves.

This button is the perfect way to ensure complete relaxation. By providing each user with a distraction-free environment and catering to their specific needs, the service offers a personalized experience. The user is able to program the device to meet the needs and particular requests such as which food establishment to order from.

The Netflix Switch "was unveiled at the NYC Maker Faire over the weekend" and the only requirement for obtaining a button is for each user to make it themselves. A website called makeit.netflix.com is a place where users can find step-by-step directions to create their own personal buttons.
