NAV CANADA Partners with Micro Nav Limited

— February 17, 2026 — Autos
NAV CANADA — the private, not-for-profit organization responsible for civil air navigation services across Canada — entered into a multi-year Framework Agreement with Micro Nav Limited, a leading provider of air traffic control simulation solutions and part of the Indra Group. As part of this collaboration, NAV CANADA will deploy the BEST simulation platform across its national training network as part of its Operational Training Modernization Program.

The BEST simulation platform is expected to modernize how air traffic services professionals are trained by providing a consolidated, next-generation simulation environment supporting tower, terminal, enroute, and oceanic operations, as well as flight service specialists, across seven regional training centres. The technology incorporates AI-enabled speech recognition, high-fidelity three-dimensional tower visualizations, advanced data analytics through BEST Insights, and seamless integration with operational air traffic management systems.
