Collages look to combine many ideas at once to create new meanings, as shown by the pieces featured in the ABAD show in Sarajevo curated by artist Natasa Stanisic. The Serbia-based engineer has an astonishing portfolio where she displays her works as an independent curator, mail artist and video artist.

This series of collages combine everything from photography to illustrations to create dream-like sequences that seem to come from the subconscious. Eyes, animals, faces and landscapes merge together to evoke a wide range of feelings and emotions in audiences. The work is characterized by the addition of fragmented images and ideas.

Art movements like Dadaism and surrealism are strongly present in the extensive work by Natasa Stanisic. She has exhibited her creations around the globe.
