Herbal Medicinal Sushi

The Nadeshico Sushi Menu Uses Ingredients from Medicinal Cooking

The Nadeshico Sushi menu for the fall introduces a new take on sushi that takes inspiration from medicinal cooking. The Tokyo sushi restaurant is celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall and to do so, it is moving away from traditional concepts and focusing on fun, healthy sushi dishes.

The fall sushi menu integrates unusual herbal and medicinal ingredients like pine nuts and cinnamon. Atop tuna or yellowtail sushi, Nadeshico Sushi will be serving a spread made from a five-spice powder, which helps to add a unique flavor experience and mask the scent of the fish. There are also menu items like octopus sushi that are enhanced with chili pepper powder and citrus peel.

Nadeshico Sushi sets itself apart within the city for only employing female sushi chefs.
