Panera Bread launched a revamped, tiered loyalty program called MyPanera that moved the chain from surprise rewards to a transparent points system, featuring clearer earning and redemption paths. The Boston-based fast-casual brand introduced the plan as part of its Panera RISE turnaround, with an automatic transition for existing members and app-based accrual for orders placed digitally. The new MyPanera structure awards 10 points per $1 at the base tier and adds MyPanera+ and MyPanera+Sip Club as higher tiers, the latter pairing a paid Sip Club drink subscription with elevated perks. Panera tested the model earlier this year and reported it reactivated lapsed guests and attracted new members; the program includes limited-time bonuses, exclusive app drinks and a discounted introductory Sip Club rate to drive app downloads and repeat visits.
