This Rock and Roll-Themed Marathon Supports 'My Friend’s Place'

The annual rock and roll-themed marathon run to support 'My Friend's Place' is now giving participants the option to extend their distance from five kilometers to 10. This unique running event incorporates a playful rock theme due to the marathon's support from the iconic Hard Rock Cafe.

The entire charity event was created to help the homeless youth within Hollywood. The marathon raises money for My Friend's Place, which is continuously working to provide a decent life for the homeless youth.

This year's marathon takes place on November 7th and will allow participants to walk, jog or run in true rock and roll style. Participants will also have the option of completing a five or 10 kilometer track. Additionally, all "participants will receive an official Hard Rock Cafe Finisher’s Medal and a limited-edition design Tech Shirt."
