MX House, a family home in Veracruz, Mexico, is distinctly modern in its design, which sets it apart from many of the surrounding homes in the neighborhood. Despite its modern appearance, though, the home is actually a cost-effective way for its residents to have property of their own, thanks to its efficient use of the space available.
MX House has two outdoor areas. The first is a small courtyard at the front of the house that serves as a parking area. The second is an interior courtyard in the middle of the home that gives its occupants a private space that's still connected to the environment.
On the interior, the home features a relatively staid and simple layout and decor.
