'musical.ly' is a new app that is rapidly becoming popular among creative teens looking for a new way to express themselves. Drawing on elements of popular platforms such as Vine, Snapchat and Dubsmash, the music-oriented app gives users a unique way to create their own content and share it with their friends.
musical.ly is a social platform that allows users -- or 'musers' as they are known on the app -- to create 15-second music videos of their favorite songs. Users can then edit their videos by adding filters, changing the speed or even playing the video backwards. The videos can then be shared with others similar to posting a Vine video or an Instagram photo.
