The Mulhouse Cultural Center could easily be likened to a kaleidoscope. Although its outer facade is much more impressive than the basic telescope-like toy. Once a person steps inside, however, it becomes immediately clear where the comparison comes from. Full of sharp angles, bright colors and abstract slits of light, the interior of the Mulhouse Cultural Center is absolutely mesmerizing.
Designed by French architect Paul Le Quernac, the Mulhouse Cultural Center boasts a very futuristic aesthetic. From the monolithic exterior to the stark interior, it is hard not to imagine it as the set for the next sci-fi box office hit. As stated by Trendland, "Evoking an energy that cannot be replicated in ordinary architecture, this cultural centre is an outstanding piece of work."
