Nature Valley's Soft-Baked Muffin Bars debuted this summer and they share whole grains in a format that's free from artificial flavors, colors and high fructose corn syrup. The bars are made with a base of whole-grain wheat flour, chicory root, non-fat milk and egg whites, and they can be found in classic flavors like Blueberry, Apple Cinnamon and Lemon Poppy Seed.
These bars by General Mills' Nature Valley boast up to nine grams of sugar and two grams of protein, plus four grams of fiber. Unlike muffins, which can sometimes be crumbly when eaten on the go, these handheld bars make perfect portable snacks. A pack of the newly introduced Soft-Baked Muffin Bars contains five snackable bars made with real ingredients like dried fruits, brown sugar, molasses and natural flavors.
