Mrs. Flans is a half blind and deaf rescue dog who has had much of her life documented on social media -- where her lovable nature is revealed to the many Instagram followers who revel in her photo updates.

In documenting Mrs. Flans' daily activities, the rescue dog's owner aims to show others the value in adopting pets in need. She does this by posting shareable photos of the canine, while supplying each with a caption that explains her health and the battles she overcomes by having someone to care for her.

Mrs. Flans' owner does this in a way that makes it seem as if the dog is speaking herself, writing in a child-like tone that coincides with her adorable appearance. Although pet accounts are all over Instagram, ones that document the live's of dogs that are less likely to be adopted help get others to realize that they'd make a great addition to their family.
