The North Face just launched its new collection of performance mountain gear. Appropriately dubbed 'Fantasy Ridge,' the 2018 adventure wear boasts re-worked 90s heritage pieces in a dreamy and surreal fashion photoshoot. The predominant color palette is turquoise with hits of white, red and royal blue.
As Highsnobiety describes, Fantasy Ridge "reverts back to a 1993's original, pinnacle mountain GORE-TEX jacket," as well as the classic half-zip fleece, the 1992 Nuptse Vest and the Staff Fleece Pant.
While the fuzzy products are a popular under layer for winter sports and hiking, the waterproof and seam-sealed shells are staples of The North Face adventurer collections. The GORE-TEX pieces are extremely high-performance, while the remaining mountain gear essentials from Fantasy Ridge are more adaptable and accessible in price for those who do not frequent extreme climates.
