The Motor Synth from Gamechanger Audio is a new electro-mechanical desktop synthesizer that uses electromotors as the source, allowing it to generate a unique sound signature. This comes as a new release from the creators of previous industry products, such as the popular PLASMA Pedal.
Featuring an eight-electromotor configuration, each with their own magnetic pickup and reflective optical disks, this analog four-voice polyphonic synth produces an industrial-inspired sound through the pickup itself, as well as the infrared sensors that are converted to audio.
With many filtering, sequencing and MIDI controlling features, the synth is able to further sculpt and produce truly organic sounds. Gamechanger has reached its goal on Indiegogo and is set to start shipping in December 2019 for $1,299.00 USD.
