Monsieur Plant Transforms Sneakers into Gardens for Mother Nature

Fresh artist Christophe Guinet, otherwise known as Monsieur Plant, has taken a horticulturist approach to the Nike brand, transforming its sneakers into blossoming flower gardens humming with life. Even the footwear brand's iconic slogan, 'Just Do it!' becomes 'Just Grow it!', revamped to reflect Monsieur Plant's green thumb.

The project speaks to Guinet's love of plants, as well as his fascination with urban culture. In combining these two interests, the Parisian artist attempts to reconcile the rocky relationship between modern-day consumerism and the planet that sustains it. The message is clear: despite the population's thirst for consumption, Mother Nature will prevail in both beauty and strength.

Every sneaker head will envy Monsieur Plant's sneaker gardens, which are thoughtfully made with raw, natural materials.
