Monopoly Lifesized is a new location-based experience from the creator of Monopoly and it promises to immerse people in the beloved board game. Set to open this summer in London, the entertaining experience is being created by Hasbro in collaboration with Selladoor Worldwide and Gamepath. Since the concept has been delayed due to the pandemic, new protocols are being put in place to ensure safe experiences for guests.
Players can choose to play on a Classic, Vault, City or Junior Monopoly board and they will move around the board and complete escape room-inspired challenges in order to buy property. Monopoly Lifesized leans into the ever-growing popularity of live and location-based experiences and it has the potential to create a model that can be introduced anywhere in the world.
