Chinese-based studio KOMA utilizes the principles of UI and UX design in the composition of a modern visual identity for luxe eyewear brand Mieu. During the development of its project, KOMA is able to convey the personality of the brand and the temperament of the product in a minimalist representation that is easy to understand and simple to navigate.
The newly developed modern visual identity of Mieu strengthens the notion that for such dedicated brands "glasses are not [just] consumer products, but [rather a] medium for expressing art." The white layout of the website calls attention to the delicate frames. Through the successful crossover of luxurious and fashion-forward eyewear with design-forward layout and branding, Mieu and KOMA are able to successfully accommodate the needs and the relationship between brand and customer.
