The plot is situated in between two dunes that offer shelter from the harsh winds during seasonal changes. In addition, the architects install a strategic wooden roof that boasts a sloping design.

While the exterior of the house is beautifully geometric and somewhat abstract, the interior is decidedly contemporary. Borren Staalenhoef Architecten used wood and glass as the main materials and they compose the inside of the modern vacation house. Thus, the interior of the home reveals scenic views of the surrounding landscape through all-glass walls, as the wood brings about a homey ambiance and is a loyal aesthetic companion to the light-filled interior.
