'Modern Times' is an innovative way to house your MP3 or iPod. Created by Swedish designers Johannes Tjernberg and Rasmus, Modern Times was inspired by the 1936 Charlie Chaplin film of the same name. The idea behind the design came from watching Chaplin struggle against the fast pace of the factory.
The Modern Times dock comes with three accessories: the iPod dock, a paraffin lamp and table clocks. The iPod dock aspect is designed to be the center of the Modern Times piece. While it looks like it belongs in the 1930s, this design has all the modern aspects hidden within its core. Very inventive!
