German automaker BMW has gone ahead and taken full advantage of Microsoft's Build event by launching a brand new Personal Mobility Companion app, that makes it possible to learn more about drivers' driving and commuting patterns whilst also taking full account of traffic information in order to let drivers know when they should leave home in order to get to their stated and specific destination at the time that they want to be there.
The system is built around the Open Mobility Cloud structure, which integrates diverse data and personalizes the end result for each user. In addition to working with your Apple device, the system also transfers pertinent data to your car's navigation system.
Ultimately, the Personal Mobility Companion app makes ample use of smart technology to enable drivers to get to where they need to go on time and with minimum fuss.
