BMW Teamed up with AirConsole to Enhance its Infotainment Systems

BMW announced the BMW x AirConsole partnership with the remote mobile gaming brand. The partnership will see the implementation of AirConsole's virtual gaming services in BMW infotainment systems. The AirConsole is aptly named because it does not require a physical console to play games, only a smart display, and a mobile phone.

The service will allow individuals inside of a BMW to turn the infotainment center screen into a gaming dashboard while using their smartphone as a controller. This unlocks numerous games such as racing games, fighting games, role-playing games, and more. According to BMW, the purpose of this feature is to make any waiting time more enjoyable, such as while charging the EV, waiting for an appointment, or waiting to pick up a loved one.
