PayPal recently announced their latest mobile payment app at South by Southwest in Austin. The interactive film, music and tech festival has taken over the Texan city and is changing the way we experience mobile retail with a series of announcements like these.
This mobile payment app by PayPal aims to support a variety of purchase options and plans to give consumers more flexibility than their existing smartphone platform. “Our philosophy has always been to allow people to pay the way they want to pay", says John Lunn, Senior Director, PayPal and Braintree Developer Relations.
Embracing what he calls a cashless society, Lunn aims to cater to small businesses with PayPal’s latest purchasing tool, making it easier for these brands to compete with larger and more established names in the industry.
