The Great PayPal Checkout Spotlights the Pay Later Services

PayPal has launched a major promotional campaign, aptly titled 'The Great PayPal Checkout.' The initiative features comedian Will Ferrell in a humorous ad series designed to highlight the platform’s checkout and Pay Later services. In addition to the video ads, The Great PayPal Checkout also includes a $10 million sweepstakes, with 1,000 daily winners receiving up to $100 in reimbursements for purchases made through PayPal Checkout over 100 days.

This marketing push coincides with several platform improvements, including faster checkout via biometric authentication, reduced page load times, and expanded Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) features such as pre-qualified spending limits. Additionally, PayPal’s Debit Mastercard now offers cashback rewards in select spending categories, including a newly added Rideshare and Public Transit option.
