Minimals by Sebastian Burga, an art director based in Lima, Peru, is a collection of toys that are inspired by the concept of minimalism as well as mini-animals, hence its name. Taking on boxy, pixelated forms, they can easily be likened to retro video game characters. This aesthetic will not only make them popular among children, but hipsters as well.

More than that, Minimals by Sebastian Burga are modular. They recently won the talented designer a Silver A Design Award at the A’Design Awards. As written by the mastermind behind them, "Certainly, they're set out to expose the essence of toyness through eliminating all non-essential forms, features and concepts. Together, they create a pantone of colors, animals, clothes, styles and archetypes, encouraging people to find themselves between them." Thus, they encourage imagination.
