This minimalist DIY home in Nijmegen, The Netherlands is designed by Reset Architecture and built by the owners. The couple approached the studio with a request for the living abode's conceptualization but were determined to construct the structure themselves. Keeping this in mind, Reset Architecture needed to create a simple silhouette that wasn't too complicated. The result was a cube-shaped minimalist DIY home with a dual colored facade for an aesthetic embellishment. While the top is "clad in black plates," the lower portion entertains a green gradient that adds a colorful twist to the structure.
Although the construction of the house took far longer than it would have, the effort behind the minimalist DIY home surely infuses the abode with deeper meaning.
