Nature Blending Modern Homes

MODU Designed the Mini Tower One Residence in Brooklyn

Interdisciplinary design studio MODU unveils a look at the Mini Tower One, which is a renovated project for a multi-family residential building. It is nestled in the busy Brooklyn neighborhood and the update focused on expanding the living space by 30% for a flexible feel.

The design focuses on creating a seamless blend between the indoor and outdoor space as each floor is expanded to have flexible areas to appeal to various activities. Some of the remaining features include the indoor terrace and the all-seasons room, which opens up or closes to enjoy the changing weather throughout the year. For example, there are trees planted right into the home to create a blended nature aesthetic.
