Minecraft, the popular sandbox game developed by Mojang Studios, is receiving a new Chromebook-compatible version for gamers who use the device. The new version will be compatible with Chromebooks released from 2020-2023 and has minimum system requirements to run the game smoothly.
According to the manufacturer, cross-play with a Microsoft account will be supported by the new Minecraft, allowing you to play with friends who have Android, Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch devices. Cross-play enables players to create their own unique world using unlimited blocks in the Create mode or look for resources in the Survival mode.
The Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Chromebook is available for $19.99 USD. Users will be able to play on Realms, access the Minecraft Marketplace, and download the Android version after purchase.
