To the delight of retro gamers, Nintendo has announced that it will be reviving its classic 1998 N64 title, 'Banjo-Kazooie,' for the Nintendo Switch. The re-released game will be available via the Nintendo Switch Online service, allowing gamers to -- for the first time -- enjoy the adventure-based game on an entirely handheld device.
While the release is clearly targeted towards old-school gamers interested in pursuing nostalgic gaming experiences, 'Banjo-Kazooie,' for Switch should be able to attract some newcomers thanks to high-quality action-oriented gameplay and a uniquely immersive world. Just like the original, through a series of levels players will embark on a journey to rescue Banjo’s younger sister Tooty, who was kidnapped by the games witch-like villain, Gruntilda.
For those interested, the 'Banjo-Kazooie' for Nintendo Switch will be available to purchase on January 20.
