Nintendo Breathes Life Back to the NES Version of Tetris

Nintendo is bringing back a touch of nostalgia for the season by breathing life back into the NES version of the iconic Tetris game. The team announced that the original version that made its debut in 1989 is launching once again to introduce itself to the newer generation of gamers.

This is set to hit the markets officially on December 12th and it is a part of the Nintendo Switch Online library. The NES variation is a beloved version with its direct form of gameplay that is challenging and addicting. Players are met with two modes: A-Type which has the simple goal of achieving the highest possible score by clearing lines.
