The Spanish brand La General de Vinos y Licores enlisted the creative agency Montalban Estudio to design the branding for its collection of Mimbo wines.
In creating the branding for the Mimbo wine and rose, Montalban Estudio decided to take a more playful route than what most consumers are accustomed to when purchasing wines. Instead of representing the wines as overtly sophisticated, Mimbo wines are instead shown to be more quirky and ideally suited for Millennial demographics. The brand's white wine bottle is covered in minimal labeling and sailor-themed graphics, while its rose is covered with graphics inspired by nighttime camping.
Mimbo wines' quirky branding ensures that the brand is able to stand out on store shelves.
