Pop Punk-Inspired Bass Guitars

Epiphone Partners with Mike Dirnt from Green Day

Epiphone has launched a signature bass guitar in collaboration with Mike Dirnt, the bassist for the band Green Day. This venture presents a modern recreation of the Gibson Grabber G-3 model, which the musician has used extensively in his career.

The revived Gibson Grabber G-3 instrument is constructed with a body and neck made from maple and includes "three Gibson G-3 pickups, handcrafted in Nashville." The latter components are arranged in a specialized wiring configuration designed to offer multiple tonal combinations without electronic interference.

The Epiphone x Mike Dirnt Gibson Grabber G-3 is offered in two finishes — Silverburst and Natural, with the component details such as the fingerboard material varying depending on the selected finish. The product is distributed with a protective case.
