If the creatures and mythical beings of “once upon a time” existed today, how would they interact with modern day architecture, people and the general environment?
The images in the gallery come from some of the finalists in a Worth1000 Photoshop contest called Middle Earth 2009 which asked artists to imagine “yesterday’s magic, today.”
The fantasy images feature everything from a runaway bride on a Pegasus (catch that one, groom) to a mermaid at a bar, to a Fedex delivery centaur.
