Metallic Color Series

Pantone, creators of Pantone Matching System, have recently released a new slew of colors, known as Metallic Shimmers. Ranging from traditional silvers and golds to an aggressive blue diode, the range consists of 200 colors and is meant to be a reference point for modern designers. This focus on modern design, specifically 21st century electronics, was the key inspiration for the Metalic Shimmers collection as it aimed to capture the colors that are being used or may be used in this space.

While Pantone developed this new color series with the tech market in mind the company also believes they will also be incredibly influential in all consumer product companies. The color series also aims to make the development process easier as companies will have a resource to consult when creating new products for the market.
