At first glance, the Metal Mesh Garden Sofa does not look like it is made out of metal mesh, but more traditional rattan. Essentially, it is a modern update from the latter material, which is often synonymous with outdoor furniture designs. Although it maintains a similar texture, the Metal Mesh Garden Sofa is given a more industrial appeal rather than a natural one.

Designed by Patricia Urquiola for Kettal, the Metal Mesh Garden Sofa was created with light in mind more than texture. The slitted design allows light to flow in and out, filtering them for pretty patterns and airiness. Inspired by architecture, the is finished with comfy cushions. It is perfect for patios in the city.
