Prescription Cocktail Photography

'Medication' by Katinka Merchan Depicts Some Dangerous Meds

I don’t know if I’m woman enough to take on the lethal prescription cocktail featured in ‘Medication’ by Katinka Merchan. This killer array of prescription meds and needles would make a pill-popper sweat with anticipation, but it bugs me out a little bit.

In terms of art, though, ‘Medication’ by Katinka Merchan is a stunning photo set. Her use of colorful prescription pills, sterile needles, a martini glass and a cocktail umbrella are at once social commentary and art.
