The MecArmy EK3R Slipjoint may have an aggressive appearance, but this EDC knife is actually designed specifically for those living in places with heavy pocket knife restrictions. Built as a full-sized compact knife, the MecArmy EK3R features a non-locking slipjoint mechanism. The implementation of this mechanism allows the knife to be a viable carry option even in the strictest of locations. This is combined with a compact blade length of just 2.65", clearing the sub-3" restriction often held over knife blades.
The blade is made of 12C27 Sandvik steel and is shaped as an upswept Wharncliffe blade. This bladshape gives the knife a distinctly unintimidating appearance, while still providing a high level of utility. The handle is constructed of stainless steel and is held together with hex bolts. The EDC knife also features a stainless steel pocket clip for tip-down pocket carrying.
