The popular fast food establishment released three tasty McChicken burgers with varying degrees of spiciness. The consecutive drop ensured that consumers were eased into the new flavorful offerings.

McDonald's released the first meal option of the three back in January. The Spicy Jalapeño McChicken burger was based on the original, but "with two layers of creamy jalapeño sauce spread." This was the entry level meal. The second iteration dropped on February 12th and relied on habanero sauce to amp up the spiciness. The final McChicken burger — the Ghost Pepper McChicken, was released on February 26th.
