These Matt Alabanese Sculptures are truly a wonder for the eyes. You may have seen his work before, entitled ‘Strange Worlds,’ in which he was so flawlessly able to manipulate the observer’s viewpoint and through and few photography tricks and lots of creative material, was able to present these magnificent landscapes that look like they were real scenes captured by some lucky photographer.
For a river of lava, he simply used crushed cotton and phosphorescent lighting, something that most people could not dream up in a million years. The Matt Alabanese Sculptures show a form of art that is rarely done but highly appreciated and insanely skilled.
