French-Fry Lipstick Art

Designer Matija Erceg Fused Raw Food with Average Household Items

Vancouver-based graphic designer Matija Erceg created this artistic collection of raw food art. Each piece of art is created to mimic an average household item but is done so with food as its medium.

All of these images are clever interpretations that fuse daily items with edible snacks. For example, there is an image of a tube of lipstick that features a french fry as its lipstick wand. The french fry is topped with a dollop of ketchup, which happens to be the exact same color as the lipstick itself.

Matija Erceg makes a clever connection between food and household items in her unique art series. While many viewers will understand the connections, these visual prompts are unexpected and challenge one's perception.
