McDonald's Matcha Kuromitsu Warabi Mochi Pie is Only Available in Japan

The McDonald's Matcha Kuromitsu Warabi Mochi Pie is a first-ever offering from the brand in Japan where it's expected to provide consumers with a flavorful and textural experience this springtime. The pie has a three-layered form that starts off with a crispy pie dough that's cooked to perfection, and will reveal warabi mochi, matcha bean paste and Kuromitsu sauce inside. The result is a sweet, chewy and crispy pie being offered for hanami season to provide cherry blossom fans with the perfect treat to snack on as they take in the springtime sights.

The McDonald's Matcha Kuromitsu Warabi Mochi Pie will make its debut at participating locations starting March 13, 2024 and will only be available for a limited time through mid-April.
