Mascots, available on Netflix, is a Christopher Guest mockumentary about "the ultra-competitive world of sports mascots." Fans of Guest's work, which includes comedy classics like 'This is Spinal Tap,' 'Waiting for Guffman,' and 'Best in Show,' will love the new movie, which stays in line with the director's fake documentary style.

The movie's plot revolves around the annual 'Golden Fluffies,' the most prestigious mascot contest in the world.

As one might expect from a Christopher Guest picture, the actors include many of his common muses, such as Jane Lynch, Parker Posey, Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge, and Ed Begley, Jr. There are several newcomers in Mascots as well, including Zach Woods (of The Office and Silicon Valley,) Sarah Baker (of Fargo,) and Chris O'Dowd (of The IT Crowd.)
