Wixon has recently announced the relaunch of its Mag-nifique Custom Taste Modifier to allow companies to create unique and flavorful products.
The technology has a variety of benefits for the food and beverage industry including 'Sweet Modifier Systems,' 'Savory Modifier Systems,' 'Bitter Modifier Systems,' 'Functional Modifier Systems,' 'Effects Modifier Systems,' and 'Substitute Systems.' It can modify flavors to reduce sugar content while retaining sweet taste. In addition, Mag-nifique can reduce the amount of sodium while maintaining a salty or savory taste. Moreover, it can decrease bitter tastes and hide protein and vitamin 'off-notes.' Lastly, it can lower astringency.
