Patience is a virtue, as shown by Canada-born artist Ysabel LeMay from the Quebec province. What viewers are looking at right now is a series of surreal photographs that appear painting-like, and it is not surprising since LeMay is well-versed in that medium. However, these are not just some ordinary photographs, as they are actually the result of hundreds of individually shot photographs assembled into one.
Known as the process of "photo-fusion," this technique calls for LeMay to dedicate approximately 4 to 8 weeks to each individual photograph's completion. In regards to her art, LeMay shares that her work "is a tribute to Nature. It is an offering; a moment of contemplation."
Ysabel LeMay definitely does Mother Nature proud with the series of spectacular photo fusions featuring delicate flowers, hummingbirds, butterflies, trees and a school of goldfishes forming a circular shape that resembles planet Earth.
