In spite of its name, the Magazine Stable is an ambiguously versatile piece of furniture that can be used in just about any setting for a number of purposes. When in its natural resting state with the wooden portion laying flat against the slanted concrete side, it looks like a magazine rack. Yet the Magazine Stable can also be utilized as a side table, stool and more. it can also take on a different look if flipped upside down.
Designed by Brad Wray Workshop, the Magazine Stable is made out of contrasting materials: concrete and solid blackbutt timber. With an overall Brutalist aesthetic, the Magazine Stable is great for modern homes that need a bit of anchoring.
