Steel Hybrid Furniture Series

Bloc Studios and NM3 Deliver a New Collection of Furniture

Milan-based design label Bloc Studios works in collaboration with NM3 on a new collection of furniture. It features two exclusive pieces that are made from both steel and marble materials to draw on the idea of "rarity and uniqueness." It is implied through the use of a special stone entitled the Pietra Selva, which is underestimated in comparison to its other Carrara marble counterparts.

Bloc Studios talks about the range, stating that β€œIt has technical processing difficulties, with it being a very hard stone, and also [in terms of] commercial reasons, we can only find it in small quantities and every single piece differs in quality and coloring.” The two join forces to highlight the material through minimal and contemporary design aesthetics.
