Minimally Designed Luxe Resorts

John Pawson and Ian Schrager Design the Madrid EDITION

Architect John Pawson works together with Ian Schrager Company to work on the new Madrid EDITION hotel design. It is a luxury resort that is located in Madrid, Spain and it boasts a minimal design language. This is the second location in Spain for the company and it invites sophisticated energy that is true to the city's culture and character.

The hotel has 200 guest rooms and two restaurants -- which are run by award-winning chefs. Additional features include three distinctive bar concepts and an outdoor pool on the roof that opens up to a panoramic view of the city's landscape. For those looking to relax, there is also a wellness and spa facility, described by Schrager as a space that is "about creating an original and new kind of gathering place for both locals and visitors alike.”
